Richmond Community College (RCC) offers a variety of course options to ensure all students meet their academic and/or career goals.
Developmental courses prepare students for college-level courses; therefore, any hours a student earns while taking these courses will not be substituted in lieu of the required math credits needed to complete their degree program.
Students that have previously taken (or tested out of) MAT 060, 070, or 080, will receive credit for the corresponding DMA courses, listed below:
Credit courses are commonly referred to as “transfer” or “curriculum” courses. Students enrolled in these courses earn semester hours that may be applied toward the completion of a degree or certificate program. “Transfer” courses are classes taken specifically to transfer to another two- or four-year institution. Credits earned in these classes are transferable to select NC higher education institutions.
