Once your FAFSA is received and you have provided any other necessary documents, the Financial Aid Office will send you a letter that outlines the types of financial aid for which you may qualify.
Returning RCC students will be notified of their awards through WebAdvisor.
Some students will qualify for enough financial aid to cover tuition, fees, books, and other expenses. Financial Aid will be credited to your account and applied toward tuition and fees for the semester or term. It is not required for these students to contact the Business Office or the Financial Aid Office. These students can take their RCC ID card to the bookstore and charge their books during the posted dates.
Other students will qualify for some or no financial aid. Bookstore charges will be the students’ responsibility. These students will owe a balance to the college and should contact the Business Office about payment.
The amount on your award letter and WebAdvisor are based on full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours). If you are enrolled for less than full-time, your semester award will be adjusted accordingly.
