If your plan is to get a bachelor’s degree from a university or four-year college, spending your first two years at Richmond Community College offers many advantages.
Under the North Carolina Comprehensive Articulation Agreement, RCC credits are guaranteed to transfer to any of the North Carolina University system schools and many private colleges. The articulation agreement states if you graduate from RCC in good standing with a college transfer degree, you are assured of admission as a junior into one of the 16-campuses in the University of North Carolina System. Additionally, the CAA preserves course credit and streamlines the process for community college transfer students.
