What information do I need to send to apply
for a position?
- To apply for a vacant position at RCC, simply complete the RCC Application
and submit it with three letters of recommendation and your post-secondary
transcripts.
Where do I mail this application packet?
- Mail to: Personnel Director, Richmond Community College, PO Box 1189,
Hamlet, NC 28345. If you need a street address to send an application
(such as with FedEx), use 1042 West Hamlet Avenue instead of the post
officee box.
What is meant by the application deadline?
- The complete application packet must be on file in the Personnel Office
by the deadline date to be considered for the position. Incomplete packetss
or packets received after the deadline will not be considered.
I submitted my complete packet by the deadline, now what
can I expect?
- Applicant packets will be reviewed and applicants meeting minimum
requirements will be forwarded to the Chair of the Interview Committee.
The committee will then review the applications and invite the top applicants
for interview. Once interviews have been completed, the committee will
make a recommendation for employment and obtain approval to make an
offer. The chair will then contact the selected candidate to offer them
the position. All candidates will be contacted by the College, in writing,
informing them of their status in regards to the position.
