The President’s and Dean’s Lists for summer 2014 at Richmond Community College have been released. To be named to the President’s List a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average while carrying 12 or more credit hours. To be named to the Dean’s List a student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 with no letter grade below a “B” while carrying 12 or more credit hours.Read More »

Richmond Community College has officially kicked off registration season for the fall semester, which means the College is enrolling students for the first time in its Mechatronics Engineering Technology program.
Mechatronics is a course of study that prepares students to use basic engineering principles and technical skills to solve technical problems in various types of industry.

Richmond Community College (RCC) celebrated 335 General Educational Development (GED) and 10 Adult High School (AHS) graduates at a commencement ceremony Thursday night in the Robert L. and Elizabeth S. Cole Auditorium.
RCC President Dr. Dale McInnis welcomed family and friends to the commencement ceremony and congratulated the graduates for their hard work.

Richmond Community College (RCC) has signed an agreement with Rostra Precision Controls, Inc. of Laurinburg to provide a customized training program for the company’s associates.
The program, put together by Rostra and RCC’s Director of Customized Training Lee Eller, offers instruction in safety, management and supervision, simulated work environments (SWE), CNC machining and logistics.

Room-clearing and shoot-and-move drills aren’t Richmond Community College’s typical course fare, but it’s a different story when police and sheriff’s tactical teams come to campus.
Rockingham, Hamlet, Laurinburg and Southern Pines police and Richmond County sheriff’s deputies took part in a four-day advanced special weapons and tactics course at the college last week.
