Take a nostalgic journey through the most popular movie music of the last 50 years, live on stage at the Cole Auditorium on Thursday, February 7, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for the performance that is a part of the DeWitt Performing Arts Series.
The show includes dancers and singers, a band live on-stage and over 300 costume changes.The show entitled Hooray for Hollywood features recreations of dozens of the most recognizable scenes and songs from beloved movie classics as well as recent releases. The high-energy show features film clips from movies such as: Footloose, Titanic, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Singing in the Rain and The Blues Brothers.
Hooray for Hollywood is highlighted by over 30 songs including all of the most recognizable sound track favorites like: Staying Alive, All that Jazz, Dancing Queen, Jailhouse Rock, and many more!
In describing the show, Box Office Manager Kiana Taylor explained, “Each segment of the show will be introduced with actual footage from the film, then live performers will take the stage to recreate the singing and dancing that follows the clip.”

“Every time I view the video, I get more and more excited about the show and I think that audience members will too,” said Bennett.
The show promises to be a celebration of Hollywood’s greatest movie songs. Watch as lights, camera, action unfolds live on stage.
