All students interested in entering Adult Basic Education, GED or Adult High School classes must first complete an Assessment/Orientation session. We accept new students in our classes throughout the year.
At the James Building (Hamlet, NC) and the Scotland Center (Laurinburg, NC), these sessions are offered to groups of prospective students each week. See the Assessment/Orientation schedule below for dates and times. Students must register for the sessions in advance, must complete the entire session, and be on time to participate. Students should arrive a few minutes early to ask for the room location at the reception desk.
Prospective students under the age of 18 must contact the provided number below for advisement prior to attending an Assessment/Orientation session.
