Providing your signature

You can provide your signature by either using your PIN or printing a signature page. The PIN allows you to sign your FAFSA electronically. The signature page will need to be printed and mailed. A PIN can also be used to access and to correct your processed FAFSA information later. Apply for your PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. If you are providing parent information on the FAFSA, one of your parents must also sign your application. To sign electronically, your parent should also apply for his or her own PIN.

*Save all your records and materials used to complete your FAFSA. Print a copy of your FAFSA on the Web. You might need it later to prove the information you reported was accurate.
