How am I going to pay for college?

You have decided to attend classes at Richmond Community College! Great choice! Are you asking yourself, "How am I going to pay for college?"

Just follow these steps:

First step - Apply for admissions at RCC. You will need to be accepted for enrollment working toward a degree or diploma approved by the Department of Education. Please be aware that the Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) and Welding Certificate are not eligible.

Second step - Take your placement test.

Third step - Request all transcripts to be sent to RCC. We must have your official high school diploma, GED, or Adult Basic Education diploma on file. If you completed a high school education in a home school setting, it must be approved under state law. We also need official transcripts on file from every college you have attended even if you do not want credit for the classes here.

Fourth Step - Go online and apply for Federal Financial Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov
